In the golden autumn season with gentle breeze blowing in the air, to celebrate the coming 100th anniversary of Nanchang University and to enrich students’ extracurricular life while enhancing the exchange between Chinese and foreign students, the Chinese and Foreign Students' Fun Sports Games, organized by School of International Exchange at NCU and undertaken by the Chinese and Foreign Student Exchange Association, was successfully held in Tianjian Stadium on the afternoon of November 8. Foreign students, student representatives from the School of Foreign Languages, and all counselors from the School of International Exchange participated in the games.
On the dark blue runway, the students looked all excited and eager to sprint. Each game proceeded in sequence. The various novel ways to compete greatly aroused students’ interests and their fighting spirit. Competitions such as "Ping Pong Relay", "Five Players with Six Legs", and "Heart-to-Heart", tested not only the players' physical strength, endurance and coordination ability, but also their teamwork spirit and the ability to cooperate. The Chinese and foreign students cooperated with each other well and showed great solidarity. In the most exciting tug-of-war match, the students tried their best to win the game and honor their teams, with the surrounding crowds cheering for them.
AKHTAR, an international student from Pakistan, said excitedly: “I like tug-of-war the most among all games. It is a teamwork sport. We cooperated and communicated with the Chinese students. Because of this event, I made more Chinese friends and learned more Chinese words. I am really happy."
