Learn Chinese characters, improve Chinese language, communicate with friends by Chinese literature, and make dreams through painting. Recently, the 2022 “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreigners of Calligraphy and Painting Challenge across the Globe under the theme of “Spring Festival”, organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, has come to an end. The Confucius Institutes of Nanchang University actively organized students to participate in the “Calligraphy and Painting Challenge”. Students completely showed their creativity. Their calligraphy works and paintings won three awards successfully.
With the theme of “Spring Festival”, the “Chinese Bridge” Calligraphy and Painting Challenge totally received 839 works of calligraphy and paintings from 63 countries. The contestants from Confucius Institutes of Nanchang University expressed their understanding and sentiment of the Chinese Spring Festival through their exquisite works with enthusiastism. Philippe Thomas, from the Confucius Institute at the University of Poitiers, and Lucia Garcia Diaz, from the Confucius Institute at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, won the “Most Creative Awards”. Francisco Llerena Palma, from the Confucius Institute at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, won the "Online Popularity Award" for his calligraphy work.
In recent years, Confucius Institutes of Nanchang University have actively organized students to participate in various events organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation to show their learning achievements on Chinese language and culture, and to strengthen the communication with Chinese language learners from all over the world, which have achieved good results. For a long time, Nanchang University has attached great importance to the imporvement of internal merits of Confucius Institutes.
