Jinggangshan Summer Social Practice

From July 28 to 30, Nanchang University organized international students to go to Jinggangshan for a summer social practice. They visited Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum, Red Army Hospital, Shenshan Village, etc., experienced local folk activities such as traditional straw shoes making and glutinous rice cakes pounding, and they deeply comprehended Jinggangshan spirit and enhanced their identification with Chinese culture.

Summer Movie Viewing

On July 31, international students participated in the Summer Movie Viewing Activity. After watching the movie called The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, they responded positively to the educational entertainment method, which not only allowed them to relax but also enabled them to understand Chinese folk tales, know Chinese Valentine's Day, appreciate Chinese artistic aesthetics, and comprehend traditional Chinese social value.

Flower Arranging Experience

On August 6, international students participated in the Flower Arranging Experience Activity. They said that this activity not only enriched their vacation lives but also cultivated their sensibility, pleased their mood, and they hoped to have more opportunities to participate in such activities in the future to further feel the charm of Chinese traditional culture.

Wuyuan Summer Social Practice

From August 7 to 9, Nanchang University organized international students to go to Wuyuan for a summer social practice. The international students immersed themselves in local traditional folk activities such as autumn crop sun-drying and tea tasting, learned about the history, production process, and cultural connotations of inkstones, and appreciated the beauty of Hui-style architecture. They deeply appreciated the profound cultural heritage and unique charm of China's most beautiful rural area.

Coffee Corner

On August 14, international students participated in the Coffee Corner with the theme of "Nepalese Culture and China-Nepal Friendship". In the activity, the speaker, Kishor Shahi, an Internal Medicine Master's student, explained Nepalese culture, cuisine, and the history of China-Nepal friendship. The international student audience listened carefully and interacted actively.

Museum Study Tour

On August 21, Nanchang University organized international students for Jiangxi Provincial Museum Study Tour. During this tour, the international students deeply understood Chinese traditional culture through on-site visit, deeply realized the power of culture and the importance of cultural heritage, appreciated the unique charm of Red Culture of China.
